Projects - Goldwind Australia: Gullen Range Wind Farm

Goldwind Australia has constructed the Gullen Range Wind Farm, which is located approximately 20km west of Goulburn in New South Wales.  73 wind turbines were installed in 2013.

Keppel Prince was awarded the fabrication and delivery of 17 tower embeds and 17 towers completed with internals.  The remainder of the towers were being built in China.

Delivery of embeds were completed by the end of June 2013 with the delivery of towers commencing by the end of June 2013.

In addition to the fabrication, Keppel Prince also installed the electrical internals for the 56 imported towers at Port Kembla prior to them being delivered to the Gullen Range site.

In January 2014 Keppel Prince also secured a new contract for the tower erection of 18 towers.

 

Keppel Prince previously supplied 13 towers to Goldwind for the Mortons Lane project near Hamilton, Victoria.
